Can a puppet agent have more than one master?

Would it be possible to configure an agent to look at one puppet master for a given class and another puppet master for a different class? And is there a way for a puppet master to "delegate" responsibility for a given class to another puppet master? Kind of like how DNS servers delegate zones.

Not that I'm aware of - the closest you could get would be to run two puppet agents, each pointing to a different master, but you'd lose all the benefits of a single catalog if you did that.

It might be useful to understand the use case - is it related to performance, or some type of organisational concern?
