How can I alter the Puppet Dashboard GUI display time to take into account BST/GMT? My timezone is set (correctly) to UTC and I don't want to change this, I'd just like to adjust for the daylight saving offset.

You can edit /opt/puppet/share/puppet-dashboard/config/settings.yml to define your timezone. To find the values, use:

cd /opt/puppet/share/puppet-dashboard
/opt/puppet/bin/rake time:zones:local

You may need to restart services after.

Hi Carthik, thanks, this worked a treat. I added "time_zone: 'London'" to the yml file. This updated the times being displayed in the gui, but importantly, it updated the timezone designation displayed in the gui to BST. I guess this will change to GMT in the winter. Thanks again!
