Plans for using DSC Powershell for Windows support?

About a year ago, Powershell v4 introduced a new feature: Desired State Configuration.

DSC adds some descriptive syntax to Powershell that gets translated to DMTF .MOF files, which are then pushed to or pulled from managed hosts and then applied. I can see how parts of this could be used in established configuration management systems, and I hear some are already doing that. For instance, the puppet DSL could be translated to DSC configurations, or the low level DMTF mechanism can be used to bundle multiple settings to a remote Windows server in a single transfer.

Is Puppetlabs looking into this mechanism for integration into Puppet for Windows?

Can't speak for Puppet Labs, but this is the code that they are using for powershell.
