unable to access puppet learn console

Hello all i'm having an issue where i'm unable to access the puppet console of my puppet learn vm, i have tried using both NAT(port forwarding) and bridged... when connected with NAT i obtain an IP address (10.0.2.15) but i'm unable to ssh or ping this ip but i can ssh to it if i use 127.0.0.1 (loopback of the vm) and access it but obviously i cannot reach the console i have tried https://127.0.0.1 but not working i have read about using bridged but when i switch to bridged adapter i don't get an IP.........can someone please help out?...i'm new to puppet.....thanks

oh below is my port forward rule name Protocol Host IP Host Port Guest IP Guest Port SSH TCP 2222 22

Check you have a "NAT NETWORK" defined in Virtualbox's general preferences (File -> Preferences -> Network -> Nat networks). If not you'll need to add one with CIDR 10.0.2.0/24 that supports DHCP.

i ended up using host only adapter and that solved it for me...hope this helps anyone out there who faces this
