ppt-202 Passing score

Hi Guys,

I just failed today in PPT-202 certification exam with 62%. Does anybody know what is the passing score of the exam, i cannot find such an info anywhere.

It's becoming an industry trend to have weighted test questions, with what ends up being a variable passing score depending on the test that is compiled for you. It's possible, although I'm not sure this is the case with the puppet exams, that for this reason a passing score isn't a static value, and therefore can't be published.

EDIT:: Strike the above for the Puppet exams. As per the Certification FAQ

Scoring is calculated by totaling up the number of correct answers and determining if this is above or below the established passing score for that particular exam.

It appears there is a static value for a passing score, it just isn't published.

Regardless, for the test to be meaningful it really should just be measuring your proficiency with the tool. Not quite getting a passing score means there is more to learn about the technology. Look over the breakdown of your results, study your weak areas, and retry when you're more comfortable/confident. Don't worry so much about the meta game of test scores.
