why is my puppet service named puppetqd, and not simply puppet?

Sorry that this is such a simple question, but I'm an extreme noob, not only to puppet, but to Linux as well. All the docs I've read indicate the service should be named puppet, so I'm a little nervous that I've done something wrong.

Can you post the output of the commands "service puppet status" and "service puppetmaster status" and/or describe the installation process that you followed? Note that on the Puppet master node, you will have both a Puppet master and a Puppet agent process running independently.
