Hi,

My master server size was 100%, memory was utilized 100% on this "/opt/isv/puppet/var/lib/pgsql/9.2/console/PG9.2201405251/14562/" directory. so I removed few files from this directory.

but now I am getting "Failed when searching for node master.example.com: Error 500 while communicating with localhost on port 443" error

Those sound like files that are used by PostgreSQL for storing tablespace data, deleting them usually means you've corrupted your PG database and you'll need to recover it from backup or something like that.
