Is it possible to upgrade puppet agent via puppet master? If yes, how? This is for Windows machines

I'd write my own custom provider which schedules a task 10 minutes or so in the future when the puppetrun will be finished (no lock file present). Then it should trigger the systems package provider (apt,...) to do the update. On windows, download the correct msi file first. Then, silent install it.

The only supported method of upgrading agents is currently to use the puppet_agent module available on the Forge at https://forge.puppet.com/puppetlabs/p...

At some point, we may provide additional options - please keep an eye on https://puppet.com/docs/pe/latest/upg... for any changes.

Thanks!
