PuppetDB module install 404 error

asked 2015-07-17 10:01:03 -0500

I was following along with the instructions for the module install of PuppetDB, and I keep receiving the error:

Notice: Unable to connect to puppetdb server (https://puppet.<domain>:8081): [404] Not Found

I'm currently testing a setup with Puppet DB, where I have it hosted on the same VM as the Puppet Master (I'm experimenting), so puppet.<domain> is automatically set to 127.0.0.1.

Any ideas of what might be wrong? I'm currently using Puppet 3.8 and PuppetDB 2.3.6 on Ubuntu 14.04 LTS
