I have a puppet module for Firefox. In the init.pp file, I previously created an exec resource called "firefox_remove_ exec". I have since removed that resource from the file, but I have a Windows client throwing the following error...

/Stage[main]:/Firefox/File[firefox_remove_exec] (err): Could not evaluate: Could not retrieve information from environment production source(s): puppet:///modules/firefox/Exception 'Errno: EBADF' at /var/lib/ruby/site_ruby/1.8/puppet/util.rb:295 - Bad file descriptor

This is odd to me because the phrase "firefox_remove_exec" does not exist in any module on the server. Also, this was never a file resource but an exec resource. It seems like something is cached somewhere, but I don't know where to clear it. Any idea why the client is throwing this error?

What do the logs on your puppet server say for that client?
