Good day,

My servers do not have internet access by default, however, I would like for puppet agent runs to have internet access. Is there anyway to specify httpproxy and httpsproxy either within a class for all the resources within the class or within the puppet.conf file for all puppet agent runs?

Hi,

have you tried setting these in puppet.conf on the master?

e.g. in /etc/puppet/puppet.conf on master

[main] export httpproxy=http://ipaddr:port export httpsproxy=http://ipaddr:port

Cheers Stuart

Stuart, Thanks for your response, however, the puppet service doesn't start successfully on the master node when those options are present.
