I just installed puppet enterprise 3.0 on a CentOS release 6.4. I just finished the instillation and logged into the console.

I got the error under Node information.

Inventory Could not retrieve facts from inventory service: 400 "Bad Request"

Any advise on how I can fix this error.

Can you post the contents of your auth.conf and puppet.conf files here? Also include the output of the command "puppet cert list -a".

Make sure your machine can access ... itself via the domain you set as the master.

For me this meant ensuring the /etc/hosts file had an entry for said domain, e.g.

127.0.0.1 puppet.myrootdomain.com
