Good afternoon

New to Puppet and currently using 3.7.5 .. I am trying to enable trustedserverfacts or similar so as to reference ::serverip, ::servername in my module but I am wondering if this functionality type is actually available in this revision (I see references to it in more recent revisions but cant pin this type of functionality down for 3.7.5).

.. Or am I approaching this general issue in the wrong way?

Thanks!

Hi,

Are you referring to this trusted facts?

If you just want to retrieve/use facts about your system there are built-in facts available for you to use, you can do view this by executingfacter as root/sudo user on your system. If there are customs facts( a non built-in) you'll do facter -p instead.

Hth, Lupin
