Hi, I'm looking at Puppet to replace the in-house tools I use to deploy my test servers. Is there a way to change the system date on a set of servers using Puppet, so that they could have their dates synchronized together?

Thanks.

@gacgde, if you want to synchronize, I would recommend using the NTP module (https://forge.puppetlabs.com/puppetlabs/ntp).

If you want to merely change a date, you can use the Exec resource type for one run. But that is not recommended because it is not The-Puppet-Way-of-Doing-Things :-)
