As we are implementing Puppet in an existing environment, we cannot start using Puppet without knowing what changes it will implement during the first run onto our systems. So the first couple of runs, we will be running in NOOP and after we approve the changes (or make exceptions in Hiera), take it out of NOOP.

Problem is that NOOP shows the changes nicely that would have been made to existing files (when using --show_diff), but I have not been able to find a way to make the output of the new files visible in logging. Is there anyway to make the content of the new files visible or to have these files created on a file system (maybe under /tmp)?
