Hi all, I'm looking for another way to determine if a resource is managed by puppet and which class. I can run the following but it doesn't mean that it's managed by puppet or if so, which class. Any help is appreciated!

[root@hostname1]# puppet resource file /etc/hosts

file { '/etc/hosts':

ensure => 'file',

content => '{md5}',

ctime => '2015-12-02 15:17:09 -0700',

group => '0',

mode => '644',

mtime => '2015-12-02 15:17:09 -0700',

owner => '0',

type => 'file',

}

As far as I know, this can only be done through the code. A compiled catalog has no information concerning classes, so there is no way to tell from an agent node where the resource came from in the code.
