how to do puppet apply for the installed puppet module ?

how to do puppet apply for the installed puppet module ?For example to install choclatey module through puppet i go for "puppet module install chocolatey-chocolatey",

└─┬ chocolatey-chocolatey (v1.2.1) ├── badgerious-windows_env (v2.2.2) ├── puppetlabs-powershell (v1.0.6) └── puppetlabs-stdlib (v4.9.1)

after that I need to know how to do puppet apply so that it will actually installs the module

I tried the same an get the following error.

Error: Evaluation Error: Error while evaluating a Function Call, 'versioncmp' parameter 'a' expects a String value,

If the module you install has an tests/init.pp that contains include <module_name> you can apply it using

puppet apply module/tests/init.pp

Even without such a file, you can simply run puppet apply -e "include chocolatey"
