For the puppetlabs-f5 module , where can I find comprehensive documentation on contructing f5 node manifests ?

The Puppet Forge http://forge.puppetlabs.com/puppetlabs/f5 and Github page https://github.com/puppetlabs/puppetlabs-f5 both include some limited docs. Near the bottom are sample configs for nodes, pools, monitors, irules, etc.

However, these are just sample configs, and therefore do not list all possible properties and values.

Here is an example :

f5_pool { 'webserver':
  ensure                          => 'present',
  action_on_service_down          => 'SERVICE_DOWN_ACTION_NONE',

But what about the values for action_on_service_down other than SERVICE_DOWN_ACTION_NONE ?

That's just one example.

Where can I find comprehensive docs on how to construct ... (more)

For this module, all the documentation that is available can be found at http://forge.puppetlabs.com/puppetlabs/f5 under the 'Types' tab. This is generated from the rdoc documentation directly embedded into the module code.

For the specific item noted above:

action_on_service_down
    The action to take when the node goes down for the specified pools. Values can match
    /^SERVICE_DOWN_ACTION_(NONE|RESET|DROP|RESELECT)$/.
