Using r10k in a bundle

Hi all

I am struggling a bit with best practices and R10K documentation.

"r10k uses a yaml based configuration file when handling deployments. The default location is in /etc/r10k.yaml and can be specified on the command line."

It's not clear to me where I should put it in my control repo or how this would integrate with rspec-puppet / beaker when I run my tests locally.

Or do people not use R10K when testing locally...just use .fixtures.yml...?

UPDATE Well... does anyone even revision control their r10k.yaml file at all?

I use Zack Smith's module: in a manifest similar to this

My only modifications are related to Puppet 4:

Hope this helps.

I see, we use a puppet module to set up the tool that manages puppet modules. Seems very complicated compared to what I've been doing with librarian-puppet in the past! Many thanks.
