Hi, i wanted to purge an unused node so i did the following:
puppet node purge cpe01.example.com

Node "cpe01.example.com" was purged. If you want to add this node back to your
Puppet infrastructure, remove old certificates from the agent node first.
Logging into the pe console, i see the node is still active.
This worked with 2015.2 but not with 2015.3.
How can i completely remove a node ?

Thanks in advance

Franz

Forgot to mention, that, of course, i use the guide provided by puppet.

 1. deactivate the agent (uninstall agent)
 2. deactivate the agent using puppet node deactivate [certname]
 3. puppet agent -t (on master)
 4. service pe-puppetserver restart

I repeated these steps 4 times until the node vanished.

It seems to be a BUG as it worked in 2015.2 flawlessly.

Update: it works by using command the command puppet node purge
