Puppet job list command says:

Failed to list jobs: SSL peer certificate or SSH remote key was not OK. Why? Where is the problem?

Hi Deepmangal, have you configured the puppet jobclient tool to point at your Puppet Server? You can do that with a CLI flag or by writing a configuration file. Here's more on both:

Note that you'll need the full url including the 8143 port where the Orchestrator listens. ie.

If you're not running puppet-job on a machine already connected to PE with a signed certificate, you'll need to do that first.

Finally, out of curiosity, what will you be doing with the orchestrator?

Thanks for your reply. I had followed all the steps mentioned on the link but still getting the same error. Through orchestration, we are targeting continuous delivery where we have a bunch of jboss servers on linux machines. We need to stop all of them, deploy the war/jar and start them one by one.

Thanks, finally I got it working.

Good to hear it's working, but was there something missing from the documentation or anything unclear about configuring the client tool?

No, nothing was missing. I want to stop jboss servers(by executing a shell command), copy war files in jboss deploy folder, and start the jboss servers (with shell script) one by one. Is this use case feasible with puppet orchestration. Can you help me out with that?
