hello

i need to install puppet on a stand alone network that is not connected to the internet. I am looking for a guide about such installation, and prerequisites and dependencies list.

in addition, i'll be happy to get some imported notes and things to keep in mind when working in such environment.

Thanks

You can use yum with --downloadonly(https://access.redhat.com/solutions/1...) option to downaload all the dependencies on a similar system connected to the Internet and then do yum localinstall on the RPMs you brought to the offline system.

I was doing such installation, however I had central packaging system (RedHat Sattelite) available so my case might be different. Can you give some more information about how restricted your environment is?
