I'm running puppet enterprise on a ubuntu 12.04 LTS server and want to the puppet master to double up as a webserver. Now I understand that PE comes shipped with it's own webserver (is it Apache?). Because I am running several other webservers I want them all to have the same configuration, which means I would like the puppet master to have a default apache install ( so that a2 enmode, a2ensite work and I can find enabled sites at /etc/apache2/sites-enabled ) Can anyone give me some instruction or point to a guide to help me achieve ... Hello,

Not sure to understand what you want exactly, but let's try.

The web server coming with Puppet Enterprise is Apache.

For the other question: Did you install the other Apache web servers with puppet ? If so you can apply the same apache configuration on the puppet master by running directly on the puppet master : puppet apply <path_to_your_pp_file>/file.pp

If I miss your point, please clarify why you cannot install Apache like on the other servers or what exactly youu are trying to achieve (post code or what has been tried).
