Is there a limitation on puppetserver version 2.7.18?

I have asked this question differently before. Puppet Server 2.7.18 not accepting more clinets, there are already a total of 74 clients managed on this master.

Is there a limitation on puppetserver version 2.7.18?

There is no builtin limitation. Puppet Enterprise can handle nearly 1,000 nodes per master with only a little tuning, and several hundred out of the box.

With Puppet Open Source, the default webrick interface starts to have problems around 30-40 nodes, but that is due to the fact that webrick is single threaded and can't handle more than one request at a time.

If you use Passenger with Apache or Nginx, the only limit is one of hardware and networking capacity.
