Beginner's Question: multiple nodes with the same node name

I'm trying to figure out if Puppet Enterprise is able to handle a scenario with multiple instances of the same vagrant project running on multiple computers simultaneously. The issue here would really be wrapped around the nodename I'm assuming.

Here's the use case to better describe what I'm trying to accomplish:

  1. A Project that 5 developers are working on concurrently, each on their own developer computer
  2. The project is shipped with Vagrant so that every developer is developing / running their code on the same configuration.
  3. Vagrant should be ideally managed by the puppet agent provisioner instead ...

If you are using puppet master, afaik, no, you can't have the same hostname, because you'll end up with ssl issues. I imagine you could do this in a hacky way where you use the vagrant shell provisioner to stick the same keys in place for all nodes (so the look like the same node as far as puppet is concerned), but that sounds terrible.
