Hey Guys, I'm new to puppet and actually new to Linux as well. I have a have simple task of changing the max open files for a user using puppet in the limits.conf file. I am able to do it through Linux command line but not through puppet. I am using a virtualbox.

This is the module I have written by following the example in puppet docs:image description(http://)

And its giving me this error:image description

Any suggestions as to what is going wrong? Also, are there other simpler ways of accomplishing this task as well?

Try adding the --debug flag to your puppet run to get more information..
