sorry for naive questions. I am just wondering why some nodes are checked in 30min interval and others not. It is clearly visible from PE console - Reports. Those which are not executed are newly added (24hours ago). Do I need set something either in console or at nodes?

Sorry If I wasn't specific enough. On the PE console ale registered nodes are checked against their catalog if they are in correct state given by node definition etc ...(more)

Are there any log entries on the nodes that do not connect that would help troubleshoot the problem? If so, please post them here for further review.

Did you check that the missing nodes are actually running the pe-puppet service ?

How to check that? Because I am able to push the configuration from LiveManagement via RunOnce manually just this automatic 30min interval check doesn't work.

Probably the reason is that the pe-puppet service is not running.

To check the status log in to the node and run the following command:

service pe-puppet status

If the status is not-running please make sure to enable the service with:

service pe-puppet start

Also make sure to add the service to the init sequence. For Ubuntu:

update-rc.d pe-puppet enable

For RedHat/CentOS add

chkconfig pe-puppet on
