I am trying to automate some deployment tasks where I am required to use an OVA file from a vendor. Trying to find a way to use puppet to do said deployment, and then bootstrap the VM and do some other configuration after deployment. I found the bootstrap method, also the after deployment. Just trying to figure out a way to deploy the OVF from within puppet. I know that I can use node_vmware to create a new vm from a template, but not from an OVF.
