Hello everyone,

I installed repository from https://docs.puppet.com/puppet/5.0/pu... but when I try to install puppet it still shows puppet3 instead of puppet5.

The following NEW packages will be installed:
   augeas-lenses (1.2.0-0ubuntu1.2)
   facter (1.7.5-1ubuntu1)
   libaugeas0 (1.2.0-0ubuntu1.2)
   libruby1.9.1 (1.9.3.484-2ubuntu1.3)
   puppet (3.4.3-1ubuntu1.2)
   puppet-common (3.4.3-1ubuntu1.2)

Any advice?

Thank you

You need to install puppet-agent, you can see some maintained examples in https://github.com/petems/puppet-inst...puppet5_agent.sh

Installing 'puppet' finds the puppet package that is available in your regular repository (which contains puppet 3), but installing puppet-agent, and puppet-server (or puppetserver) should install the JVM based puppet-master.
