I can find no examples of the proper format to query using the puppet-query command in windows. All examples of puppet query in the docs seem to be for the unix version and not for windows. I try these formats and get either invalid arguments or panicked thread 'main' rust error. How would one go about listing the nodes in the puppet database using the windows tool puppet-query.

I can answer my own question. I've been able to successfully query using this format in windows after generating a token.

puppet-query "nodes[certname]{deactivated is null}"

This will produce a json formatted list of active nodes.

[ { "certname": "test1.test.com" }, { "certname": "test2.test.com" } ]
