Does PuppetDB store older facts? How can I query for old facts?

I mean, may I be able to query puppetdb to get the value of fact ten days ago? For example, I need to know how many CPUS (processorcount fact) had a node ten days ago.

Thanks in advance

Hi rssh22,

It seems like this isn't yet possible, There is actually a Ticket that was opened for that: https://tickets.puppetlabs.com/browse/PDB-30. Resolution: Won't Fix

The official documentation is also quite explicit, PuppetDB stores:

  • The most recent facts from every node
  • The most recent catalog for every node
  • Optionally, 14 days (configurable) of event reports for every node
