Is there a way to configure the Anonymous Authentication for a site to be 'Application pool idenity' in IIS using Puppet?

I want my puppet script to set the anonymous authentication to be the 'Application pool identity' option for my site. I cannot see a way of setting this using the 'puppetlabs-iis' module. There are some related options, such as enabling it and passing in a user for the authentication, but nothing to specify it as 'Application pool identity'.

Does anyone know of a module that makes this possible, or a workaround?

This currently isn't a feature of puppetlabs-iis as you've said. We can make a feature request for that module and Puppet will prioritize it and add it when they can. However in the interim, you can set this with a powershell exec statement, using the following documentation:

  command => 'set-webconfigurationproperty /system.webServer/security/authentication/anonymousAuthentication -name userName -value ""',
  provider => 'powershell'
