I would like to see which commit SHA1 hash was used to sync the code using codemanager the last time this was done, without triggering a new deploy. However, the codemanager API endpoints only provide a way to retrieve this info when doing a new deploy using the endpoint :8170/code-manager/v1/deploys. The :8170/code-manager/v1/status endpoint does not provide this information, neither do command-line tools as far as i could tell.

This isn't via the API, but if you can read the .r10k-deploy.json file at the root of the environment, the signature key has the commit ID.

For example /etc/puppetlabs/code/environments/production/.r10k-deploy.json
