Can windows agents handle schedule type?

I see in the Writing manifests for windows that this isn't mentioned but I would assume it should be supported. We have a mission critical application that will need to be shut down for some maintenance and I was planning to use the schedule type to ensure this happens when no one is using the machines.

So, will windows agents handle a schedule type in a manifest correctly?

You can use the schedule resource on Windows to apply an exec resource at the time of your choosing. The exec resource may be a command to shut down your application, perform database maintenance, send out notifications, etc. or whatever you need.

I don't see any indication that the schedule resource won't work on a Windows agent.
