Hey there puppetiers,

we're running puppet version 5.4.0 on Ubuntu 16.04.4 with foreman 1.16.0.

What we're trying to do is, to rollout adobe acrobat dc version 18.11. As it seems, the nodes are getting the app properly, but only if we check them manually. In formeman the reports throw out following message:

/Stage[main]/Profile::Apps::Acrobatdc/Package[acrobatdc] Could not evaluate: Puppet::Util::Log requires a message

We cannot find a useable information regarding this message. Also there is not directory under /var/logs/messages.

On the node we've got the following log:

According to the chocolatey log on the node, Adobe Acrobat DC is not installed properly, but when checking the installation path, the software was installed with the updated version.

Choco Error Message:

As mentioned before, the nodes are getting adobe installed.

Any clues what this error means?

Thanks in advance.

You're running into https://tickets.puppetlabs.com/browse.... Can you update the ticket with the manifest you're using and run with --trace to include the backtrace?
