Hello,

I'm trying to configure puppetlabs apt module to add the following configurato my host : APT::Get::Install-Recommends: "false";

SO after reading the documentation I added the following to my hiera conf :

apt::conf: 'no-recommends': content: 'APT::Get::Install-Recommends: "false";' priority: '99' ensure: present

The code compile but I don't see any change on my system. Any idea on what I'm doing wrong here ?

I finally found the solution :

apt::settings:
   'conf-norecommend':
      content: 'APT::Get::Install-Recommends: "false";'
      priority: 99
      ensure: present

The name of the resource must start by conf-*
