Hi All,

My environment is maintained by Puppet Enterprise. So, if I would like to apply Linux tuning parameter sysctl.conf for certain hosts (not all hosts), how do I achieve that?

Thanks!

It sounds like what you're after is node classification: https://puppet.com/docs/pe/2018.1/gro...

Since you're using Puppet Enterprise, you can create a group and set rule membership for that group based on hostnames, IP addresses and fact that's available (or make up your own fact). And only the members of that group will have this configuration maintenance.
