Puppet Enterprise Licensing

first 10 licenses for Enterprise are free Right? To be specific, I would like to know that for Free 10 nodes license, do I get everything mentioned on the following link (except support). ? http://puppetlabs.com/puppet/enterprise-vs-open-source

Can anybody confirm please?

That is correct.

With the ten free nodes, you get a fully functional Puppet Enterprise installation. As you mentioned, this does not include support from Puppet Labs, but instead relies on community based support.

There are several options available, such as #puppet on Freenode and the Puppet Enterprise Mailing list, though that is not an open group, and the Puppet-Users Group.

You can find out more information on the various levels of support available on the PuppetLabs website.

Is it a node a phisical node (e.g. an ESXi server) or the totality of the machines managed (e.g. 1 ESXi node and 9 VM?) I ask this ...(more)

If it runs the agent, it will count as a license, so if the ESXi node is being managed, then that would give you 9 additional VMs / licenses to use.
