I'd like to have our monitoring system check that the Apache server (pe-httpd) is running well, by having it query the /server-status URL. Although it's in mods-enabled in the pe-httpd configuration, it doesn't seem to be actually enabled.

Is there a way to enable it?

Edit: when I try to add it to the configuration, I just get a redirect to /cas/login. Is there a way to disable logins for it?

This should just be a normal Apache change in the Apache configs.

From looking at the configuration, it already looks enabled. But I've tried explicitly enabling it. It doesn't seem to be working.

I've figured it out. I needed to add a virtual host. Something like

Listen 127.0.0.1:80

<VirtualHost 127.0.0.1:80>
  <Location /server-status>
    SetHandler server-status
 </Location>
</VirtualHost>
