puppet symlinks broken when installed to AWS

Good afternoon guys,

I am having an issues with Puppet enterprise 3.1 when installing it on a Red Hat AMI via cloudformation. Puppet enterprise installs with no errors (i can see that in the last run log), in my answer file i have q_puppet_symlinks_install=y. When i try to run any of the puppet commands ie puppet agent --test on the master I get the following error

bash: puppet: command not found

if i run the following command

/opt/puppet/bin/puppet  agent --test

it works with no issues.

According to the documentation the symlinks are installed inside /usr/local/bin. Any chance this directory is not included in your $PATH?
