I have a puppetmaster on a Debian Wheezy machine. Today cron showed the following error for /opt/puppet/sbin/refresh-mcollective-metadata:

Failed to load feature test for posix: can't find user for 0
Cannot run on Microsoft Windows without the sys-admin, win32-process, win32-dir, win32-service and win32-taskscheduler gems: cannot load such file -- Win32API
Error: Cannot determine basic system flavour

Is this a bug? Or something that I should be concerned about?

Looks like a bug.

can't find user for 0 seems to indicate that the root user is being looked up incorrectly. The hint at Windows may be a followup misinterpretation, because the local platform seems non-*NIX.
