How can I reduce the amount of license key spam in /var/log/message?

I have a valid license. I would prefer not to have it spam every time a node checks in. I get the following everytime a node checks in.

Mar 20 18:40:09 pup02 puppet-master[16114]: You have 8 active and no inactive nodes.
Mar 20 18:40:09 pup02 puppet-master[16114]: You are currently licensed for 450 active nodes.

At present, there is no really good way to do this.

The best option would be to use something like rsyslog and filter out the output to a different file.

That won't remove the noise, but will get it out of the main log files.

There is a feature request to change this behavior. If you have a Redmine account, you can leave a comment and +1 the ticket. If you have a Premium Support contract, you can also contact Puppet Labs support and ask them to put a priority bump on this ticket.
