dashboard workers fail with(puppet-dashboard-workers dead but pid file exists)

The puppet version is 3.1.0. with WebBrik.

after starting dashboard workers:

#./puppet-dashboard-workers start

  1. Stop the workers: ./puppet-dashboard-workers stop
  2. Kill any process in the output of ps aux (do this with sudo/root) that references dashboard
  3. Delete the PID-file, probably in /var/run/
  4. Start the workers

If it still isn't working read the log, probably at /var/log/puppet-dashboard, it will probably tell you what's going on.

PIDs in CentOS 6 environment were /usr/share/puppet-dashboard/tmp/pids/delayed_job.?.pid
