Hi, I am evaluating PE 2.7 and I am testing a couple of things on the PE Master and I then I have to wait 30 minutes for the agents to "check-in" and do their 'catalog runs'. How can I change things so that clients check-in every 10 minutes?

You can run puppet any time you want using puppet agent -td on the client.

To change the interval, edit puppet.conf

runinterval = 600

See the doc. for more config details.

In /etc/puppet/puppet.conf under [agent] section put;

runinterval = 600

The puppet agent (puppet service) does not need a restart if it is already running. If not, then start the service as;

service puppet start
